My students range from 5-6 years old and are excited to learn to read. I love to expose them to a variety of materials to engage them in the process of learning to read. I have found that they really enjoy non-fiction. I am hoping to provide each of them with their own non-fiction magazine to use at school and then home, to promote literacy in and out of school. I want them to have the passion of reading by helping them create their own stash of reading materials at home. My students are eager to learn to read but many don't have books at home. Please help me get books into their hands.
