I started enrichment with these students last year when they were in 5th grade. They became so engrossed in the Harry Potter series that we picked up where we left off at the beginning of their 6th-grade year. After completing the first 6 books and movies, it would be a nice improvement for these students to have their own copy of the book from the series they have grown to love and adore. Although a few students have been able to get a copy of the books for themselves, most cannot afford this. Also, I have little to no school funds to provide these materials. These students have jumped head first into the "Wizarding World" by completing projects such as wand making, being sorted into the different Houses from the series, and potion making. However, all the projects in the world cannot replace that feeling of having a book and the words right in front of you. Please help my students who want to read and learn!
