My alternative school students come from middle to lower class families. It's hard to make ends meet many times in our rural school district. There are few businesses here to solicit for funding and there is no budget for buying new classroom materials. Since the alternative school program is fairly new, many of the materials we use are borrowed from around the district, many of which are significantly outdated because they have been in storage for years. This can create difficulty in applying our students with proper motivation to succeed while providing an appropriate education with such outdated classroom materials. The students I oversee and teach deserve the best possible education and learning experience, which is why I am using this program for assistance.
