The more quickly a teacher can give feedback on student work, the more effective that feedback is. With traditional methods of assessment, feedback cannot be until the work is graded by the teacher. At best this will be the next class period but can take up to a week. With the Elmo student response system, I will be able to give feedback instantly and clarify and correct misconceptions while the assignment is still fresh in the student's mind. I will use this technology for warm ups, exit tickets, and reviews to allow students to demonstrate their knowledge and build the vital skills they will need to succeed.
