I am in the process of implementing flexible seating during whole group learning to maximize lesson retention. The rug will replace a smaller, older rug that the previous teacher left behind. It will allow the students to fully engage in the lessons taught on the carpet and allow us to teach more lessons on the carpet. The bean bags will serve as flexible seating in my library area where the children have already loved my "scoop chairs". They deserve the world and I truly want them to have access to the most enriching environment possible.
