Readers’ Workshop has proven itself to be very beneficial to my students. During this time, students meet with me for small group instruction, read independently, complete crafts or projects based on our weekly focus skill, and last, but certainly not least, students use a web based educational program to earn blue ribbons as they pass lessons that are aligned with Our state standards. Technology (or Tech as we call it during centers) is my students’ favorite center! This is the reason I am asking for 3 chromebooks for my classroom. All students within each small group will be able to use the chromebooks at once instead of having to take turns. My students love to use technology while learning, and these chromebooks will provide that opportunity for my students.
