It is a known fact that an arts education provides students with a unique opportunity to develop creative problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, the confidence to take risks, as well as inspire inventiveness - skills that are highly coveted by employers across the globe. With your help, the artists and future leaders inside my classroom can use their sketchbooks as an appropriate space to brainstorm innovative ideas and design solutions to unique problems. These sketchbooks will also double as interactive journals that will help students understand key concepts and ideas as well as provide examples for reference. Sketchbooks are a valuable asset in a proper arts education.
