This year my class has been given a class set of tablets. The students use these tablets for various classroom activities such as research projects, ELA, Math, Social Studies and Science. Tablets are also used in support of EL students during ELA. A challenge that we have run into as a class are students not having headphones to adequately use during the time they are using their tablets. With students having individual headphones they can increase their focus during their tablet times. This will also decrease the chance of students spreading lice or germs with one another. Students have been provided with headphones in the past which were not durable enough for the use of how often the students are on tablets. These headphone are more durable and will be used along with the command hooks to prevent any damage to the headphone when being stored away. My students and I will greatly appreciate your consideration!
