All of my lessons start on the classroom and transition to different stations. At this time, we all can't sit on the carpet. The carpet is used as a station for the children to partner/Independent read. We eat lunch early and have a very long afternoon, providing a nice little snack between lunch and dismissal keeps their bellies full before going home. Playdough is a huge hit in my room. We practice cvs words and site words using the playdough in our word work station. Building the words helps my kids practice sounds and letter recogniton. I am truly grateful to Donors Choose for helping us teachers make our classroom safe and engaging for learning.
