These new books and centers will continue to enhance the autonomy of the classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really see as their safe place to be curious and to problem solve. They complete work there, and they practice English out loud! Every student will have the opportunity to implement the centers and books to improve their English in reading, writing and speaking. Having these new center activities and books will give the students a sense of academic responsibility and provoke them to read more. The collections of books chosen are in the their interests as well as on their varied reading levels. This will help the students read more and better independently. With this project, these language learners gain tools that will enhance their learning experiences with me and other teachers as well.
