Thanks to very generous family and friends, the Diverse Learning Style Classroom Supplies project is happening! Now let's give the kids just a few more materials to work with. We are requesting new markers (my classroom set is running quite low currently), construction paper (all I have right now is scraps), scissors (several pairs have "disappeared" this year on me), and tape to draw/cut and paste main ideas and supporting details of informational texts, markers also to mark on informational texts with different colors, chart paper for classroom walk-around group work, a pencil sharpener for the colored pencils from the last project (because my 7th graders have officially burned out the pencil sharpener I had for years while teaching high school), and a few general classroom cleaning and health supplies that have been in need of a re-stock. Help me make our learning environment the best it can be for the rest of the year for all my students!
