Second graders have a lot of energy! These seats allow the students to be at their desk for whole group instruction while stimulating multiple parts of their brain. This will cut down on discipline issues while solidifying their ability to focus. When my students are comfortable with their seating choice, their success rate is heightened. The students will be able to sit in a seat that fits them best. This grant will help us turn our classroom into a home-like environment, allowing students to freely explore. Flexibility in the classroom shows the importance of differentiation the learning experience for each student's individual needs. This flexible seating will create more space for innovative activities.
