The academic demands on 3rd graders definitely feels out of reach some days. I believe flexible seating will help the children with that final push they need to finish assignments. It will allow the children some extra movement and privileges in the classroom. I am currently letting the kids choose different areas in the room to work but some kids need to move constantly. The flexible seating will help with this. Writing is one of the most difficult standards to guide the children. I am hoping flexible seating will help the children cross the finish line in all academic areas.
