I love to create fun math and literacy games for my students. First graders learn best with hands on activities and their interest holds when playing games. It makes learning fun. The laminator and laminating sheets will help protect the games and activities that I create, or purchase, by making them more durable. This longevity will lead to saving me money from having to replace the items as well as reduce my prep time in the future. I set up my classroom to meet the needs of all of my students. Children learn at different paces. Giving them access to different activities of varied levels to choose from helps give them a voice in their learning, and a feeling of success when they accomplish the task at hand. Having bins to organize everything will help the students become more independent learners as they will be able to choose their own activities and have everything ready at their fingertips. These bins will also help protect activities by keeping all items to each activity in durable containers.
