"He's in my spot!" and "She's touching me!" As my class size grows, my rug seems to be getting smaller. A new rug will give all students more space at rug time, allowing students to focus on the lesson. A new rug will allow room for the class to get up and dance to our letter songs, play spelling games and listen to stories. In my kindergarten class, we spend a lot of time on the rug. Having a cozy spot on the rug will invite them to learn. A brand new rug would help our class be the best learning environment possible.
