Our STEM Robotics Club will give our Middle School students a chance to get out of their comfort zone and try some new things (build a robot; figure out how to get it to work; modify it to take it to a higher level; do research and have a positive, fun experience). STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is the future and will open multiple doors and opportunities for them, not to mention; expose them to future professions they might be interested in pursuing. We want to give them a variety of experiences, therefore, we could use different kits. We will also need something sturdy to store them in when they are not using them. By donating to this project, you are helping give our students many wonderful opportunities they probably will not get elsewhere as well as a safe place to do something other than run the streets after school. This will also help them become better 21st Century critical thinkers and problem solvers; molding them into model students, prompting them to do better in school and preparing them for their futures!!
