After being at home for a year and a half for COVID and doing everything digitally, kids really do not enjoy reading books. In order for students to become better readers they need to enjoy what they reading. Providing them with good quality books that they will enjoy will help all students improve their reading skills. These books will be used for guided reading groups for all of 5th grade. Different titles were chosen so that books are on different reading levels for students in 5th grade. These books will help all students grow to love reading again and grow their reading abilities.
