Our school is brand new! And while, there are many advantages of a new school, such as a new building with sparkling rooms, light fixtures and windows, the disadvantage is that we are starting the school year without many common materials that were available to us at more established schools. Class sets of literature are crucial to a successful reading program, yet we currently have NONE! Our students are strong, avid readers and they can't wait to get into our first novel study, but without help, we won't have the books for them to use.

About my class

Our school is brand new!
