Over 45 minutes of our reading block consists of Reading Workshop, where the students read independently. I buy them body pillows for the library so they can relax while they read, since they are stuck in hard chairs all day. These pillows are expensive so I could only afford 2, and they get dirty very easily. These chairs would be comfortable, while also allowing the students to sit up and stay focused and engaged in their book! My students often run to the library to get to these pillows first! With these chairs, the students will be able to utilize more than just two at a time, like they currently have to do with the pillows.
