I would like to have a small group table in my classroom. A kidney table allows for small group learning during instruction and independent work. This work can include review games, building test taking strategies, and guided comprehension reading. Remediation and comprehension review is essential to my students since we are in a state testing grade. My students love to do science experiments. This table will provide the opportunity to create teacher/student experiments to engage future learning. We will be able to dig deeper into our experiments and make stronger connections to our everyday learning. I truly believe that having this small group table will enhance my students learning.
