These books will help me rekindle (or foster) a love of reading in my students. I have planned Book Club Units and Independent Choice Reading Projects with a focus on contemporary, multicultural, and high-interest novels, such as the ones on this list. I want students of all reading levels to be able to find books that suit their talents and their interests. With such a variety of new books in our class library, students can engage physically with the books to find their next reading adventure! These books can show them new ways of looking at the world while also reflecting their own lives and interests, which is how lifelong readers are made.

About my class
