My students are full of energy and need a quiet way to release some of this energy that does not distract themselves or other classmates from learning. With having a large class load, it helps if students are quietly able to release some of this built up energy throughout the day so we can continue to learn what we need to and be less distracted. These wiggle seats will help them doing just that, as well as other added benefits such as posture and learning to share. My students often ask to use quiet fidgets from home such as stress balls, fidget cubes and fidget spinners. Those tools seem to distract them more than help them. With wiggle seats, since they sit on them, it has the opposite result for them!
