My students are nonverbal and need lots of pictures to communicate. iPads are easily accessible and various programs to download that can be used to help with communication skills. The students utilize the smartboard, but with only one smartboard and having to using it for the curriculum, it is not always available for the students. The students receive therapy in various areas and using the iPad assist with fine motor skills and communication skills. Helping my students to communicate is most important. The iPad will be used daily and having multiple iPads will help to assist the needs of more students.
