In this project, students are working towards reading one million words or more. With many students just starting to love reading, its so important to keep them motivated with high interest and leveled books, incentives for earning one million words, and the materials they need to reach this lofty goal. Most students began the year reading 3-4 years below grade level, but most have already grown a year or more in reading levels by January. Headphones will motivate students to earn, while the books will intrigued and continue to invest students in reading more. Life long readers achieve great things!
