There are a wide range of body types and sizes in a combination classroom, and these bodies have different needs for seating. A single source of seating for these various sized students is ineffective and detrimental to the learning opportunities students are challenged to accomplish.Flexible seating options help maintain focus and interest in whatever topic students are studying due to the comfort level of their bodies. My students will benefit from healthy seating options by increasing stamina, maintaining control, and continuing focus in their academic and social endeavors. Given healthy seating choices, students have an opportunity to exhibit longer self control.
