As students advance in mathematics the content, concepts, and calculations increase in difficulty. Providing students with proper tools such as these TI scientific calculators and teaching them how to use them will help them throughout their academic careers. Students in middle school often could benefit from a calculator beyond the standard one. Many parents don't even think about the need for a scientific model until high school. Providing these calculators will ensure that all students at CVHS in 7th and 8th grade math have access to quality tools so that they may continue to learn, solve, and be challenged by the concepts in their mathematics classes.
