We are currently operating out of a church and with little furniture in our room. I am a long term sub who took over for a teacher that had to resign.This year is a learning experience for both the students and I. Student belongings and lunch kits are in the hall. Toys and learning tools are in tubs on the floor in the room. Our room will be a much safer place if we have a shelf of our own to organize our things. In kindergarten, we teach children to be self-sufficient, organize their own materials and property, and to clean up after oneself. This is hard to accomplish when there are not many areas in the room where we can actually put things away. This shelf will give things a place to rest and keep the room a safer and cleaner place all at the same time.
