If we had to describe our classroom using only five words, they would be: enthusiastic, diverse learners, inquisitive, knowledgeable, and nurturing. We take pride in creating a classroom and environment where our students are comfortable taking risks and becoming independent learners. Our classroom theme is "Hollywood", a theme that continues to bring out even the shyest student who then quickly becomes eager to share and be an active participant throughout every academic workshop! As well as performing on our "Open Mic Friday's", where our students love to share their talents within the classroom such as creating their own research reports or poems and talents outside of the classroom such as singing, playing an instrument, or sharing artwork! Our past students love to stop by our classroom on a daily basis and give compliments such as, "I miss 3rd grade so much! It was the BEST year ever!"
