Our students vary in size, medical conditions, body fat percentages, fitness levels, and attention spans. The student population of our high school is over 700 students. The physical education program has limited resources and technology available for the students use. Heart rate monitors are like personal fitness trainers that give immediate feedback to students and teachers. Everyone can benefit from exercising with the knowledge of his/her heart rate. Technology has entered every facet of our lives. Now let it enter the preventive heart health of our students.
