My students have limited access to books. Being in the lower end of the socio-economic status, the students in my classroom do not have books to read. In reality, they really do not have equal access to the opportunities of many. The classroom is the main place where they can select, view, and read books of their choice. They will be able to access these books throughout the day to meet their AR goals, do their research reports, and practice their reading skills- to name a few. But more so this will allow the students to build their love of reading.
