The students in my classroom have severe emotional behavioral needs, we have a small class size in order to meet the needs of my students. Though, I am still looking for more creative ways to help students stay engaged and successful in my classroom. The carpet and bean bag chairs will be used in a "calming", or regulation station, in my classroom. This will give my students a safe space to go to when they feel overwhelmed or are needing support. The fidgets and that balancing tool will be used with students who may have a lot of energy but are trying to stay on task and complete their work in the classroom. The books will be used to stock our calming/regulation station.
