My students love to move around and keep their bodies active, even while I am teaching or they are doing their work. For a 7 year old, 6 hours in school can feel like a long time. The students should feel comfortable in their classroom and that it is a place where they can truly be successful. I have tried implementing stools, rubber bands on chairs, movement breaks, and various spots in the room for them to work but I don’t feel it is enough. Some of my students would greatly benefit from a stool that is meant for their body to wiggle in. It would greatly improve their academics in such a simple way!

About my class
