My students need headphones for their computers! Technology is so important in today's fast-paced world, and I want my kids to know how to use it effectively and safely. For their Chromebooks, they need headphones! Many families cannot afford to buy them for their kids. I want to instill a strong love of reading within my students. Books that they are interested in will make a huge difference with this! Kids love Harry Potter, and I always feel bad that I don't have it in my classroom library. I want a few sets of great books (like "Loser" and "Tuck Everlasting") for my reading groups. When students are working on vocabulary, I always make them look up words in the dictionary instead of online. It is a valuable skill! My current dictionaries (I only have 5) are falling apart and are out of date.
