My children need lots of practice reading a variety of books on their instructional levels. I do not have many books on their specific reading levels. Since they are lower level books it doesn't take as long to read them so I need a variety of books to keep their interest and keep them reading on their reading. These books will help my struggling students become better readers. Once they have mastered a book they put it in their bag of books. When they have free time they enjoy the success of reading the books independently by themselves or with a partner.
