Having their own desk will greatly improve my students learning experience. Right now we are using tables which do not allow much room for student supplies, such as pencil boxes, and there is no storage for materials such as workbooks. Anything used for a lesson or activity must be passed out and picked up each time it is used. Individual desks will allow students to have their own work space. Everyone will have "elbow room" and privacy to complete their work. Desks will also allow everyone to face the front of the room. Right now some students have to turn their chairs around each time instruction takes place at the front of the room in order to see what is happening. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use as we rebuild what Harvey took from us.
