I wear many hats on a given day as a special education teacher. I am a co-teacher in all of our Math and English classes for grades 8-10. My home for most of the day is in other teachers' classrooms. I am also a support lab (or resource room) instructor for small groups needing additional support in classes or skill growth. In my support lab(s), I try to offer various ways to practice skills in groups or independently to foster community and independent success. On top of my classroom duties to my students, I am also the case manager for many of the students present at our project based learning school. I check in with parents, students, and other staff to ensure that each student is getting what they need.
