Our school is a S.T.E.A.M. school which means we teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math integration. These materials that I am requesting would help my students "practice" their scientific inquiry and collaboration skills even after their academic work time as we always say, "learning is all around". By donating to our project, you will help support our learning with the new Next Generation Standards. The games like the Magnet activity, can be used as a culminating activity, independent learning time, or during indoor recess. With the real world STEM challenge kit, kids can save a town from a flash flood, rescue a toy bear from a well, and guide a family safely across a bridge. I know they will have so much fun!
