I have a wonderful group of kids who are eager to learn and willing to help. We have practiced morning meeting since the beginning of the year and I can see that my classroom is so much more than a room in a school; it's our community. We have built such a wonderful and supportive atmosphere. Our school is over 80% free and reduced price lunch but that isn't stopping us from doing all we can to create a loving environment. I know that due to our population and location my students may not be exposed to opportunities that other students have but that doesn't stop their willingness to learn. They are like sponges and soak up everything I have to offer. I'd like an inviting meeting place to continue to build our community and support my learners.
