I am an ASD teacher working with 8 kindergarten and first grade students. I am asking for funding to help create a sensory table to help students explore their senses. Students on the autism spectrum experience sensory in many different ways and this table and its contents will help them experience both the pleasant and unpleasant aspects of touch and smell. I am hoping to buy a table, a tub, and contents ranging from soft and hard items, and various fragrant items. A list of items includes: Dry corn, rice, and beans. Kinetic sand and play dough. Straws, sticks, and foam shapes. One use items such as shaving cream, raw bread dough, and pasta when cooked. Any amount is helpful towards to purchase of these items and myself and my students would be grateful for your contribution. Thank you so much for reading this far. Ms. Courtney
