Sitting all day is a struggle for most kids, but especially when you have learning disabilities such as ADHD that keeps you on the move. This type of seating (seat cushions) will provide my high energy students with comfortable and adaptable seating to help them focus in the classroom. I will use several of these cushions in my classroom/resource room. I will provide the remainder to my high need students for their general education classrooms. This will allow them to sustain attention and therefore make great learning growth. As I work with many early elementary aged students, we work on the floor for hands-on activities. I would like to purchase a rug to not only make this more comfortable for my students, but also provide another type of seating for all of my students.
