Let’s face it, we all will sit and read or work for a much longer time if we're comfortable. It's my goal with this project to define a comfy seating area for students to relax while reading or working on assignments. Currently there is a couch for this area, but most students sit on the floor as our current seating options are limited. Every morning before school and during lunch we have over a hundred students who use the library space. The added seating will help to give students a comfortable seating option when using the library to study and read. The rug will help to define the space as a designated quiet reading and studying space in a very busy library.
