Students come together to explore coding using the fantastic curriculum of Code.org and CodeCombat.com. They wrestle with the logical arguments and see dynamically how the lines of code that they are writing impact the functionality of the program. Providing a stable platform will allow them to bypass the frustration and occasional obstacle of the device not functioning well enough to load the curriculum and allow adaptation. A Surface Pro 4 will allow students who don't have the resources to explore the world of coding to develop logical thought processes used across the many fields of STEM. This will attract students who may be on the fringe of coding to be welcomed in to an entire new realm of possibilities and opportunities.
