My students need access to snacks to help them focus and get down to work. Many of my students come from homes that lack food security. My goal is to provide a safe, caring environment that helps meet basic student needs. Every day we connect students with community services (mental health, physical health, employment and training services) to support their development. My students are often hungry when they arrive to school. When we can, we strive to make sure our students have access to food outside of the school day as well. By donating to this project, we will be able to have snacks that students can access while at school and evenings/weekends.
