The students in my classroom are unique. Some were born in different countries and immigrated to the US. Many are growing up in homes where English is not the language spoken at home. Some come from homes where there is one parent and that parent is working many hours and they are being raised by a grandparent or older sibling OR are doing the raising of younger siblings themselves. Many of these students have seen more in their short lives than most of us ever will. I strive to make my classroom a safe, warm, comfortable place where ALL students feel a sense of belonging. With the help from supporters like you willing to give so I can provide my students with everything they need, we can give them a little boost up!
