The goal of this project is to meet the sensory needs of the children in my kindergarten classroom. We will use these all day during our centers, choice time, and any time a child might need to move a little when sitting is expected. Using these wobble chairs will help normalize moving and help build success for my students when they get the wiggles. Wobble chairs will provide my students the ability to work at their tables and MOVE at the same time. It's a solution for those students who are unable to focus because their bodies need to fidget and wiggle. For now, I am requesting 12 chairs to be used during centers, whole group instruction, and whenever needed. Eventually, I would love to request the other half so that everyone has access to one and can move successfully during the day!
