I have the privilege of teaching 18 awesome first graders. I have never taught a class that has enjoyed reading as much as my first graders do this year. They would read all day and every day if they could. My first graders go to a suburban elementary school in Wisconsin. 30% of my students are living in poverty. Wisconsin is seeing a huge cut in education and all of my students are being affected by it. My students would love to have the opportunity to be able to listen to their favorite story on an MP3 player, while also practicing their fluency skills.

About my class
