About my class

These captivating resources will make a difference in my students' learning. Our current resources are not always engaging for students nor do we have access to a lot of nonfiction text. The SuperScience and Scholastic News magazines will improve our learning community in many ways. First, motivation for reading would be enhanced with high-interest materials. Second, the appealing articles would deepen knowledge of understanding text features and comprehension of challenging reading material. These materials would be easily accessible at our reading station. We would use these great reading resources during guided reading, partner reading, and with whole-group activities. Third, these paper/online issues offer updated and relevant information which most likely will pique a child's interest to learn even more about our world. Last, all students will enjoy benefits from these materials as reading success is enhanced with daily practice.
