Our library is very spacious. We have a large main room, a walkway into a smaller rear space, and a massive office with windows that allow visibility into all spaces. Students move freely between all of the spaces, including the office. We have a class set of computers spread throughout the main room, walkway, and office. Every day teachers bring their classes into the library to utilize our resources, and between fifty and one-hundred students visit the library every day for circulation needs. We often have one class on the computers, students from other classes utilizing spare computers, and a small group working in the back. Our library is a warm and inviting place for students to visit. By continuing to modernize the library by providing comfortable and flexible seating options, we promote literacy, encourage creativity, and provide a safe haven for our students who often need it the most.
