I teach a vibrant class of 3rd graders who have very high aspirations. My students are competitive and eager to be challenged. Unfortunately, the majority of my students lack experiences necessary to become lifelong learners due to limited resources. We are a Title 1 school with free meals for all students.Most of our student population derives from non-English speaking families. The students I serve are predominantly of Hispanic Ethnicity and from a low socioeconomic background. Regardless of their socioeconomic background, my students continue to want to learn! My classrooms is composed of trailblazers and gifted and talented students who need as many resources as they can get. They are inquisitive individuals who are very engaged in their learning. We need more resources that will allow us to learn in a fun and meaningful way.
