iPads in the classroom can be extremely beneficial for diverse learners. The use of iPads helps capture the students' attention while promoting learning. In today's world, technology is all around us and it can be difficult to keep up with the current devices and software if we are not using it daily. Most of my students do not have the opportunity to use technology in their every day lives, and are not getting the experiences necessary to keep up with advances outside of school. iPads will enhance my students' learning experience by allowing lessons to come alive. It can take "hands-on" learning to a new level! My students will use the iPads in all subject areas. Using countless apps and tablet-friendly websites, my students will be able to work on anything from building fluency to practicing their math skills. They can use apps that demonstrate steps of problem solving and develop vocabulary. Please help me start building on my dream of having an iPad for every child in my room.
